The Role:

The Technical Account Manager acts as a liaison between our clients and our technical support team. You will be managing a portfolio of client accounts and will be responsible for proactively owning and managing the technical relationship, on boarding process of new clients, driving revenue and ongoing profitability and exceeding client expectations. As a Technical Account Manager, you must have a broad understanding of technology in addition to exceptional customer service skills.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • 7+ years Technical Account Manager experience
    • Advanced process knowledge and technical skills relating to:
    • Software development, networking and database management
    • Windows-based server operating systems
    • Supporting enterprise-level applications
    • Cloud Computing Technologies: Office 365, Azure, AWS
    • Virtualization Technologies: VMware, Hyper-V
    • On boarding new clients
  • 3-5 Years Account Manager experience:
    • Proven ability in developing long-term partnerships and communications with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors
    • Prepared and conducted quarterly business reviews and developed account plans with short and longer-term budget goals to leverage the full potential of MSP solutions
    • Well versed in completing RFP’s and creating statements of work related to IT products and services
    • Proven proactive experience in providing project status and client updates in a timely manner
  • 3-5 Years Project Management Experience
    • Successfully managed technical projects from inception to completion
    • Demonstrated success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing high levels of client satisfaction
  • Previous experience with ConnectWise  
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Management or equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
